Our client is looking for one Cook to join their team in Chilliwack, BC

Job Duties:

• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff.
• Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
• Ensure all food preparation meets standards.
• Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Arrange for supplies and equipment purchase and equipment repairs.
• As indicated by the production sheet, loads pans of hot and cold food onto the food containers/carts, following the established procedures and standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of experience in Food industry.
• Actively seek a more efficient way of doing things
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Have impeccable attention to detail and ability to think quickly.
