Our client is looking for one Cook to join their team based in Surrey, BC.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Prepare and cook special meals as instructed by chef.
• Experienced in grilling, sautéing, baking, frying, roasting, seasoning meat and vegetables.
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
• Ensure all food preparation meets standards.
• Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Ensure Health and safety guidelines and quality control are followed according to sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Prepare essential ingredients and creating finished dishes using specialized kitchen tools for the restaurant.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary education.
• 2+ Experience is required in Italian cuisine cooking experience.
• Ability to supervise cooks with advanced cooking skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Willingness to be flexible with working hours.
